I am awaiting the seat to arrive but outside of that I have all the parts for my new bike build with the exception of the stem. I have been riding a Colnago CLX for the past few years and this second bike is a Kona Honk_Y Tonk, which is more relaxed. To my surprise I had no extra stems lying around my garage. Thus, I need to get one. Is there a way to measure for the proper size stem or is it just trial and error? My last build, I had multiple stems around. I am not sure what happened to them. It seems like there must be a way to measure because trial and error can get expensive.
