Looks like the new mount is a velcro strap thru a slot in the camera housing. So it might mount to a rack, except for tubing diameter issues (I'm guessing the rack tubing smaller diameter will make it hard to keep the camera in place). I don't speak CAD or 3D well, but I'm guessing there will be a 3D adaptor for the new version shortly.
