I can see why the "pro" cyclists didn't stop. Your bike looks from those poor photos to be an old 10 speed with 27" wheel, probably has 27 x 1 1/4" tires with Schrader valves. Those riders would have bikes with 700c wheels and their inner tubes would have the wrong type of valve. Their pumps probably wouldn't fit your inner tubes supposing that you had spares. They could not possibly help you with your flat tire. Your old bike has parts which are not compatible with newer bikes so if you want to ride it, learn how to maintain it and how to do minot repairs. Does the bike even have quick release wheels? If not you need to carry a wrench to get the wheels off for flat repair. Those passing riders can see all this at a glance and would know that they are unable to help
