So since I have this heart appt coming up, I've been digging into the records. The actual echo measurements of my ejection fraction were 26.7% (teich method) and 32.4% (cube method). But somehow the report based on this data is saying "on the order of 45%". That seems pretty odd, no idea why he would up revise it by like 13%, which should be 3x the error bar for these things.
Less than 40% is pretty much heart failure, and less than 30% qualifies for disability. So If I get any worse than last years measurements, I'll qualify for a motor on my bike
I'm young and virile, my heart just doesn't work for crap.
