What would you say to her? Was she serious? Why would she hate us? Should I sleep with one eye open?
I'm a firm believer that people usually have to account for their words. I remember when a person I sometimes don't like placed coffee on a piece of sensitive equipment and I got the chance to lecture her about it. She removed the coffee. Later, I set a cup down and thought, "This isn't the best place to set my cup, but I know what I'm doing." 5 seconds later, I knocked it over and spilled it.

She'll have to pay for her words, somehow, someday. We are not in control of when it happens.
