Well the fork date is confirming.
The top tube respray from the images appears pretty close, ( upon viewing again, not close enough) not an easy color to match, the metallic size is often the problem. Situation is that those willing to open a fat wallet for one of these, want original paint and unmolested.
The majority of the value in this bike is in the frame set and parts that are plausible original.
The other parts in my mind are along for the ride and will be excluded from adding to its value.
There was an original champagne 57 cm on the market a while ago, never met its public reserve, high bid was under $1,400, bike was dirty which did not help, not a lot of confidence the fork crown chrome was intact.
The market has currently been soft in general in my view. Maybe the upcoming election, folk not feeling super positive about their own economic condition?
