Bikes: 1972 Motobecane Le Champion, 1976 Motobecane Grand Record

Mid 70's Saint Tropez w/ Campy Pedal Score!

I picked this up today at a yardsale for 40 bucks, (it was 50) I noticed the Campagnolo pedals and Suntour powershifters, Suntour Luxe RD..then the SR seat post, the Dia Compe compact aero levers, SR aluminum bars/stem, Panaracer 27" TourGuard Pasela tires, a bit dry on the skinwalls but not toobad compared to what Ive come across regularly. The pedals and levers arent factory but it was well worth the price.

Crank and brakes/QR are all Tourney. I'll end up pulling off the rear QR brake cable stop and put it on my le champion

I have zero clue what model it is, I read this company mostly had entry level bikes with one maybe 2 higher end models. The frame is pretty decent in weight, most likely straight gauge but isnt all that heavy and certainly well above gas pipe weight too.
