It's 'brakes'. Is that a real MagicShine or a knock-off? My limited experience with MagicShine knock-off's has NOT been good. With the genuine* article... well, I have four of them, so that might tell you something. Let's talk about your brakes...
IMO the manufacturer has set your brake levers up just fine. You have rotated the handlebars far too much, and that makes it better for riding in the hoods, but the drops are a stretch. Well they should be! You have a choice: never use the drops, or develop the flexibility necessary to use them. You have an ergo bend handlebar with a limited amount of 'drop' dimension. It doesn't get much better than that.
As I understand it, handlebar rotation can be anything from, with the drops dead parallel with the ground, that would be illustrated by the second of your pictures of the light blue bike with the too much downward tilted saddle, to with the drop portion at a 10* to 15* angle with the ground. That would be any of the other pictures of handlebar setups pictured in your post.
You are certainly free to untape the bars and set the levers to any position that feels right to you. Just saying. But as a starting position, what I see in your post doesn't look that far off. You might have given us a better shot though. From the side, like the other pictures you collected would really be nice.
*MagicShines themselves are actually knock-off's of a German light called a Lupine Tesla which retails in the $400 USD price range.
