Here is the pedal:



It's a 1037/a Superleggeri pedal (so not actually Super Record because of the steel axle), in lovely condition apart from a gouge on the quill.

Here is a close-up of the damage:


... which is typical of that sustained by quill pedals. This is after I had sanded it smooth -- it was also heavily oxidized and pitted.

Vintage Campy equipment is getting increasingly expensive so I wondered how difficult this would be to repair or at least improve cosmetically.
