FWIW I recently got the Velomine A23 on White hubs. at 28/32H they are light but not silly, and wouldn't look out of place on an old steel bike. They are a good deal for sure, as the parts alone would cost me more. As long as you stick to silver hubs and spokes any wheel will look reasonable on a C&V bike.

Sometime before next summer I plan to try one of the H+ son rims to build up some heavier duty 36h touring wheels. Nice to hear that people like theirs.

Stickers are easily removed. I don't accept the it's the modern look rationale. Advertising gets removed immediately.
