Mavic Ksyrium SL Frozen Nipples - Would Like to Salvage

2006 Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels. One rear NDS spoke broke. I'm sure the root cause was a spoke frozen to the nipple and whomever trued them twisted the spoke during truing. It was visibly twisted when I got the wheels back and was making a "plinking" noise when climbing. I knew it was just a matter of time.

My specific question involves moving forward with these wheels. I would like to salvage them.

I've purchased a few spokes proactively as other spokes were/are making the same noise and have been dabbing TriFlow on the nipples under the assumption that a few more spokes and nipples are frozen together.

Is there something besides TriFlow I should be using to free up the nipples? How long should they soak - a week or a month? Is it a lost cause - once they freeze they are done? Don't know until they are tried?

Any thoughts or experience would be appreciated.
