I rode yesterday, not feeling I would do very good as my training has been lacking in the cycling area. Due to my illness and a ton of local construction I have not been able to get out frequently enough to keep my legs strong.
I have lost over 20lbs since my last race in June and most of that is the leg and abs, Went from size 31 to a 28.
The winds were so strong at the race the triathlon was changed to bike run.
I had trouble keeping in a straight line as the wind blew me all over the place, I struggled in wide open areas as the constant gusts kept me hanging on tight.
