Ya think! The bike has been on the market since at least 2008 ( I had a 2008) or 8+ years of selling the bike & lots of glowing reports as you say, though of course some folks don't like it. You get on one, go for a ride, and then do you really think that caus' that bike had a shimmy, all of those 8+ years of selling them its some issue with the design. As has been pointed out, the likely issue is wheels/fork, not some systemic issue with design. Try another LHT, likely to be a different result.
