I'm guessing it varies wildly. It's strange because on the consultation visit, one of the nurses said some people go right back to work the next day (probably sitting down) but today they (including the same nurse) said "Yeah, go straight home and relax for the next 48 hours. Don't think you can walk around the grocery store, etc."

Probably a minimum of a week until I could ride a bike again. The main thing they tell you to abstain from is sex for 7-10 days. The incision (very small, this was a no scalpel job) is a lot lower than I thought it would be. I don't know when I could imagine sitting on a saddle again. One week sounds pretty good right now.
