I put a lot of miles on a set of 32 hole Open Pros built with 14/15 DB spokes with zero problems. I weighed 145 at the time. They were from QBP wheelsmith shop.
I had a similar wheel set. Dura Ace hubs (7700-series), Mavic CXP-33 rims, 32H, 3X with WS 2.0/1.7/2.0 spokes. I weigh about 150 and these wheels lasted over 35,000 miles. They were built by the Wheelsmith shop and never needed the slightest retruing. They were finally taken out of service when the brake tracks got too thin to trust.
