Bikes: Indeed!

I've seen it written before that the bikes with lettering "Champion Team" instead of "Team Champion" are European market bikes but I think it may be more complex than that. Mine was a 1974 model and came with original paint and a sticker from a bike shop in a town where I lived in 1977. The shop had been out of business for over a year when I moved to town so they would have had to have put their sticker on a used bike within two years of the bikes date of manufacture, not impossible but improbable. Also it seems to me that there are too many of those bikes on this side of the Atlantic to have all been brought in by individuals. Perhaps they were originally built for European sale but then sold to the North American distributor.
