I'm looking to upgrade my CAAD10 or just getting a new CAAD12

I have a 2012 CAAD10-1 that has Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 parts so it's 10-speed.

That part doesn't mind me as much as the dent it has on the top tube which happened 3 years ago. It's about 1 inch long horizontally and 1/4 inch high but probably about 2-3mm in. I don't want my frame failing and all. Plus, I have the opportunity to get into a slightly smaller frame size so I can have a more aggressive fit.

Got offered $1700 for an Ultegra CAAD12 from my LBS but wanted to add about $1k in a carbon wheelset.

If I keep my CAAD...it's really the dent that would bother me then the fact that it's still 10 speed. Other than that if I get a tune-up and change the tires it would be road ready but I haven't rode it since March.
