My CEO is an avid road cyclist and I have no doubt she uses it as one of her many networking tools, but it hasn't translated into being part of corporate culture yet. There's a group that does after hours runs on Wednesdays at 5pm and a another group that do lunchtime group workouts and a group of lunchtime badminton players, but so far no cycling groups. At the same time we have a large number of staff who bike commute, including some grizzled veterans like myself and I've occasionally had a brief but productive work chat at the bike lock-up, or met people in the org I otherwise wouldn't have.
