I got 'em over the weekend and this morning was my first ride with them. they seem really nice. they feel a lot like my old shoes, which is great because i LOVED my old shoes.
they're slightly big for me at size 44, but that's cool because they'll accommodate thicker socks on chilly days, and the lace up design still allows me to get 'em snug with regular socks.
OOPS! I'm late on my advice.
BTW - Shimano is a solid choice! I have a very old pair of Shimano MTB shoes that I still use all the time.
