Did you ever have the chance to buy one you've been looking for and when the opportunity came up and you've kicked yourself afterwards? That happened this weekend. I was at a swap meet in Kansas City and someone was selling an english style roadster, late 40s, rod brake. I've been looking for something like this for a while and I rarely ever run across one or see one on Craigslist. If I do, it's too small for me. Anyway, this one wasn't in too bad of shape- definitely a project but I enjoy that and size wise I think it would have worked. But I passed on it. No idea why. Ever since I've been kicking myself- again, I just don't run across that style of bike very often at all. I keep telling myself there was something majorly wrong with it that I couldn't see and my intuition warned me off. :-)
