I'm curious about the pitlocks...I have been looking into something like this but they seem costly. Any thoughts on the pinhead version?

Mostly I want to secure the front wheel. Also looking into a solution to lock a fork mounted B&M light on my wife's Linus with rim brakes...Any ideas?
yeah Jersey City is awesome. such a nice blend of urban and chill. I hope to live here for awhile. Bike lanes are all over downtown, minus the folks double parking on them. It's a little more hairy to ride up in the heights and Journal Square. downtown is easy peasy though.

I think the safety of the krypto messenger mini+ and the Abus mini are pretty much even steven. The one thing that would be a tipping point is if the krypto is not double shackled. The Abus is, which means they have to cut twice to get it off vs once on the krypto. That's essentially double the security.

I've seen a lot of folks using the pinheads and love them. The pitlocks generally get a slightly better rating from my research so I bought them, but I don't think you can go wrong either way. The pitlocks are definitely pricier.

No idea how to lock a light down though. I use lights that are super easy to put on and off and take them off when I lock up.
