Dynamo systems aren't that heavy nor expensive. Like I said in my original post, my lights and hub have been working flawlessly for around six years. I've used the hub and lights on a few bikes over the years. The system is more convenient than relying on rechargeable batteries or replacement batteries. It's better than the solar solutions. It also means I can tour anywhere for any amount of time without relying on the grid.
What do you think is a better solution? I'm not trying to be snarky, I'd like to know if your setup is better. Maybe I'll switch
