Use a top notch spray gun powered by a compressor. Prime one or two coats. Apply color with a couple of coats with ultra-fine sanding in between. Then cover with a heavy clear coat. If you have decals, apply them UNDER the clear. Done and done. Easy-peasey.
Many thanks, I will take this into consideration when collecting more information on paint type, etc.
