Folks act as if such promotion of goods by overcharging is unknown. On the contrary it is a well respected marketing technique. My dad, who was a men's wear merchant, had a saying (updated to today's prices), "There are $500 suits, and there are $1,500 suits, but there is no such thing as a $3,000 suit. Just $1,500 suits that are being overpriced.
Correct me if I'm wrong guys but I believe they are expensive because of all the R&D that is done on these wheels.
