Since I'm turning 50 in a few weeks, the thread title caught my attention (tick, tock).

I would want to have my old 1974 Raleigh Professional back again.

When I left my 15 year employment to start my own business, I went through a few hard-times along the way (as many do, of course). I had to sell my trusted and true ride (among several other items at the time) to put food on the table for a family of five, keep bills being paid, and keep a junker car running.

I've since posted in several places, including craigslist in phila, trying to find the owner to make a very generous offer to buy it back, and bring it back home. I know it's out there somewhere.

After so many hard and trying times building a business, it would be the thrill of my life to have it back home, and to hoist it onto the roof of my now Mercedes Sport Kompressor.
