There are some stunning rides in Santa Barbara that are little known. My favorite is to throw the bike on the car and drive to the top
of the mountains and ride along Camino Cielo. No cars there and decent paved road and you can look left to see the back range and right to see wonderful ocean views. I'm retired in SB with no life to speak of so I'd be glad to help you make your trip truly memorable. Another great ride goes from south Patterson through university and then along the sea cliffs.
