Yes for all those who like the mid-grade Veloce, but have always disliked the gearing of the 53/39, and the extra weight and confusion (for some) of a triple, Veloce now has a compact crank coming out for '06, and it is already for sale at

It is nice to see the mid level stuff with compacts now, instead of buying a group to build a bike, then having to go out and pay extrta for an aftermarket crank. I kinda wish I got this for the Veloce group I just bought.
Oh well.
