In this case, the seller really had no experience at Craig's List to talk about being naive or gullible, they just wanted to sell their trailer and I'd gather, if someone waved some large amount of money, a few thousand, it might be a different situation than someone wanting a bike for $300 or even $600. Yes, some people are naive in that manner.
