There are a lot of threads on this subject, but the gist of them is, there are no brifters compatible with your hybrid. it is a fairly expensive proposition that includes changing out bars, bar tape, shift/brake levers (an expensive part), and brakes (since V brakes don't work with road bike brake levers. You also might need to play around with stem length as well. Moreover, since most newer road brifters are not triples, you might have to change out your crankset as well, as well as your derailleurs since mountain derailleurs don't always play nicely with the current Shimano road shifters.

You could switch to trekking or butterfly bars. They run about $25 to $30, and you can use existing shift and brake levers. All you might need beside the new bar is some bar tape.

If you really want a road bike, you might need to bite the bullet and sell your new bike at a loss and get what you should have bought in the first place.
