I don't call out anymore, I don't use a bell, I just pass them. My MUP is mostly straight with only one intersection, and 2 turn offs. The chance that I pass traffic in those areas is almost non existent. I physically give them as much room as possible and keep going. All the on your left or passing on the left, they almost always move to the left. They hear the world left and instinctively move in that direction. I find it to be rather rude honestly so I have stopped doing it all together.
