Yesterday was the Bicycling Magazine Fall Classic. Although it was damp and occasionally drizzly/misty, it was a beautiful ride. The start and finish were at the Cycling Center in Trexlertown, and the routes were through the Lehigh Valley, with some of the finest pastoral landscapes imaginable. The whole 90 mile route was lovely - no unsightly, junky bits, except when we missed a turn. And wouldn't you know, that bit where we were off course was the only time we encountered any hostility or impatience from motorists? In fact, we hardly encountered motorists at all. The whole event was sort of charmed. And, as one may imagine, given the promoter, very well organized.
Oh, and since it was at the cycling center, we got to do a victory lap (or as many as we wanted) on the velodrome track. That was cool!
Can't wait till next year!

Sorry to hear that. Maybe it's not your co-workers, maybe there's something toxic about your workplace.
