Back around 1990 I purchased a Bridgestone MB-Zip. That was an amazing ride and came from the factory with the lightest / best parts in each category...not one group. That was love at first ride.

I've been following Grants work since then. He is definitely a visionary and has had a big impact on design, style and materials in the bike industry. It's has been interesting to see his ideas go mainstream... although it takes 10 or 15 years to make it from the Rivendell Reader to the mainstream.

I have spoken to him a few times when ordering stuff and he's always been nice. There's no question in my mind that he's one of the good guys.
