We ride it every time we visit my daughter in Burlington. Don't forget there are also some great roads on South Hero to explore. And Snow Farm Winery is a nice place to take a break. And there is a little place (sorry I forget the name) that makes 'The Worlds Best Maple Creamies', which are outstanding. Get the child size, they are very rich.
The other islands also have some good riding, as does the other shore south of Plattsburgh.
cool. funny I saw a small sign that said entering South Hero while we were still on the causeway. We have to go back, make the crossing & continue on and explore. At the Farmers' market I spoke to a B&B owner who said they have a place on the island. Sounds romantic but a hassle to visit daughter at school. We like staying at hotels right downtown and having her stay with us for a cpl days. we get more time with her that way. the air BnB was very nice but we missed having more time with her.
