At least one of the morning walkers around town carries a flashlight when walking, and I appreciate being able to see her. A couple of the others have bright yellow vests with reflective strips which show up well in my headlight, and I told them I appreciated their vests because I could see them from a distance. The rest of the walkers continue to walk around our dimly lit streets, many of them in dark clothing. Even with a bright headlight it's hard to see them from a distance. Usually I only know they're there by seeing their silhouette.
