For some reason I only get 750-1500 miles out of a cassette on this particular bike. This bike also eats chains just as fast even though I'm pretty diligent about maintaining them every 100 miles or so. My other bikes I'm getting much more typical mileage in the thousands before the chains/cassettes wear out.
