Note that there is no standard for trainer control over Bluetooth Smart. So you either have to copy someone else's proprietary protocol, or roll your own, KK did the latter.

Bizarre that they don't have ANT+ FEC support though, I agree, but their trainers have always been Bluetooth only inthe past (I own a KK Road Machine + inRide pod).
