My wife leaves it on her car. It's there when she needs it, and it solves the storage problem. She has never had a problem with John Q. Law. On the other hand it is one more thing they can pile on if she has an accident or other infraction.
This. I left mine on for over a year with no problems, but if your LEO is somehow offended by something, it's one more ticket he can write.
