True! One year I was riding with some fenders that didn't quite come halfway down my rear tire. They left a bit of a racing stripe on my back, but I was willing to live with it. this reason right here is why I got the buddy flaps. Noticed the back of my trunk bag was getting a stripe during wet weather. If it's throwing water there, it's throwing water well higher and further behind me. I've been caught behind someone with half fenders and I know it's kinda annoying, so I figure why do it to someone else?
