What are you using it for? If you plan to race cross in the future I would definitely choose the Straggler for both the geometry and the STI shifters (using bar-ends while trying to riding technical terrain is not fun IMO).

I love how the straggler rides, it feels like a tank that was built for racing, but I have never ridden a CrossCheck. If you are just using it for commuting or relaxed solo gravel rides I think the CrossCheck will be a great bike for you (and it is easier to maintain!).
