I like to take photographs of my bike when I'm out riding. Whatever gear I'm in at the time I stop is the gear that will be reflected in the photograph. I'm not going to readjust my seat angle or stem height, or anything else for the sake of the photograph. It might be a bit dirty at the time too. I like an honest photograph. I am recording the moment as it is. Not as is might be according to somebody else's ideas of what it should be like. It's a Zen thing for me.
