I would go full Campy Record, Chorus, or Veloce, 2x10 or 3x10. I find they set up with ease, work consistently, and the ergonomics are excellent. Don't get the Escape movements.

Not all parts need to be Record, but we do have to deal with what hub can handle a Campy cassette. The silver pre-2006 hubset and the black (and more angular) 2006 and later are not equal in beauty, but both function perfectly in a Campy system. Not real expensive, either, compared to say, White Industries or the top two grades of DT.
