Pretty much agree but IRC's tandem tire (from the early 1990s) made a humming under power when mounted "correctly" that was missing when "backwards"...


I've told hundreds of customers that unless the surface was deformable tread, of any kind, didn't increase traction and might decrease it. Followed by a description of the hydrodynamics of bike tires VS auto tires. Andy.
