I have the wheels and Tektro calipers from my 2014 EVO-5. Guess I need to start watching the great auction site for shifters and derailleurs. I doubt my wife will ride it that much, so may even go for Tiagra.
I am guessing that is not a factory paint job?
Apparently (according to the 1987 catalog), custom factory paint was an option. The quality of the paint indicates it was factory-done, along with the internal routing of the brake cable (which I could not find in any catalog bike). If it wasn't done at the factory, it was done professionally to a high standard. This bike came from Newcastle PA, which is not far from the factory in Bedford PA.
