+1. I clicked on this thread expecting a discussion on interest in bike touring, hoping for some new insights on why people in the future might (or might not) decide to see the world by bike. Instead -- frame materials, more speeds, computers, all that junk. If the history of bike-touring has shown us anything, it's that where there's a will, there's a way.

P.S. All is not lost, though. Food p0rn is always welcome.
