I dunno, I think it's growing on me. I think it might look okay with more normal wheels (e.g. Archetypes or something with black, not gumwalled tires) and solid black or white bartape.

(maybe even silver bars/stem/post/etc. instead of black? I'm not a fan of black parts.)
