please post any info on the hub... brand name? model?... frankly, that cone has an odd bearing surface shape, much like a Shimano Parallax hub would use, or possibly an old Normandy hub... personally, i'm thinking the Normandy hub, since the ones i've had here had that raw, unfinished look to them, and that relaxed curve of the bearing surface is what points me to believe it's either the Normandy, or Parallax types... MIGHT be a Campy type, too... or older Dura-Ace? not many used around here, so..... please post a pic of the hub, at least. It is certainly NOT a "standard" cone design. and the standard kind will not work correctly, and in fact won't even fit.

Post a pic of the hub.
