Great tips!

I had a foot to go with a 700x38C which had an old tire (sans beads) inside as a liner to protect the tube from roofing nail heads (studded).

Took a break, sprinkled a little talc, let out a bit of air, worked the beads all around, then with thumbs on the backside rim "pulled" the remaining bead over the rim with my 8 free fingers.
