Going stir-crazy without bike rides, starting to feel weak and schlubby
I haven't had that experience with Google maps. I've used it a lot, and it routinely puts me on bike paths and side streets. I was particularly impressed on a couple of 40 mile rides down into Indiana from Chicago where I had no idea where I was going. I followed it blindly, and both were very nice rides on mostly paths, some residential streets.
