My commute is great! I can't wait for the moon to get full again, because riding in that predawn moonlight is just magical. The MUP takes me along the Platte River in Denver, and the river by moonlight is just beautiful.

It was a little chilly, especially one section where I dip into a valley along a Platte tributary. Always makes me say yikes! I am pleased, I finally swapped out my sneakers with lots of mesh for my summer hiking boots with wool socks, and my feet are much warmer on these cold mornings.

This morning I wore:

• sleeveless base layer
• high-viz long sleeve wicking shirt
• cycling shorts with minimal chamois
• legwarmers
• wool hiking socks
