LOL, yeah, I did a lot of engineering when I put my system together. In your case, the weight and the hill climbing capability is an issue.

One idea is to ask a reputable vendor - EM3ev about their products, and your requirements. They will be able to give you some good advice. They sell both a good hub motor and a mid drive.

Certainly with climbing with a heavy load, there is a lot to be said to using a mid drive configuration to take advantage of the bike's gearing.
